It all began…

Castle Gin started with many months of experimenting with different flavours and botanicals, the majority of which are grown in our garden.

For all those special ingredients, we were ably assisted in our foraging on the Staffordshire Moorlands by Lola the gin-dog.

After rounding up some willing volunteers and providing them with no less than 15 different recipes! The results came in overwhelmingly in favour of one particular recipe that outshone all the rest.

Once we had the winning recipe we needed an exceptional bottle to match our exceptional gin. With this in mind and in keeping with sourcing everything locally we approached M86 Creative to design a unique bottle for us, and boy did they deliver a truly beautiful design.

With this beautiful design we then approached Wade Ceramics and commissioned an exclusive bottle, the combined design and shape make our bottle a stand out addition to any bar, pub or home collection.

Infused with a subtle blend of foraged botanicals, home-grown ingredients and in a gorgeous unique bottle it has become our original Castle Gin.

Castle Gin is best served with plain tonic and garnished with a slice of orange.
